The fine print, answered.
Is the teacher plan really the whole product?+
The classroom half, yes: 200 resources a month, unlimited differentiated versions, your own PDFs, watermark-free exports. The pacing board and formative assessments run on school calendars, class lists, and sections, so they arrive with the school plan, for every teacher at once. Differentiation is never held back for a higher tier.
What does free actually include?+
Five resources a week with all of Create, in every format, with assign and export to Google Classroom, plus differentiation to try and a preview of the pacing board. It resets every week, and nothing you made goes away.
Do students need accounts, and do we pay for them?+
Students never need a paid account, and there is no per-student charge at any tier. Scores go to the teacher and the student: no leaderboards, nobody performs for a crowd.
Which budget pays for it?+
Schools have used Title I and Title III, curriculum and instructional-materials budgets, state literacy grants, department and PD budgets, school-improvement and MTSS grants, and bilingual and EL allotments. A quote can split across two funding sources, or across two fiscal years.
Do you take purchase orders?+
Yes, on school and district plans: send the PO and we invoice against it. Individual checkout is card-only. The moment a PO is issued your teachers are unlocked, before the check ever arrives.
Do you offer discounted pricing?+
Yes. Pricing follows the number of teachers you’re supporting, with volume discounts and special pricing for pilot programs, Title I schools, and multi-school districts.
What happens when a license expires?+
The account returns to the free plan and nothing anyone made goes away. Every resource stays saved, accessible, and downloadable.
What if teachers here already pay out of pocket?+
If the school or district buys TeachShare, we reimburse teachers who already paid for it themselves this school year.
Do you offer refunds?+
No. The free plan is the trial, for as long as you want it, so nobody has to buy on faith.
Can one department pilot it first?+
Plenty of schools start that way: one department, one grade level, sometimes one very convincing teacher. Teachers can be in the product before anyone signs anything, and their work rides along when the school does.
Do you replace the curriculum we adopted?+
No. TeachShare runs on the tier-one curriculum your district already chose and cites it: passages, standards, page numbers. If it isn’t in your adoption, Ida doesn’t invent it.
What sets TeachShare apart?+
TeachShare connects planning, resource creation, differentiation, and assessment instead of treating them as separate generators. It works from adopted materials and standards so teachers, coaches, and administrators can use the same underlying plan and evidence.
How do you handle privacy and student data?+
FERPA and COPPA compliant, and 1EdTech certified for data privacy. We sign student data-privacy agreements, including state-specific DPAs, and student data is never sold or shared.
Do you support SSO and rostering?+
Yes, on school and district plans. The free plan uses standard email sign-in.
Do you have a VPAT or accessibility conformance report?+
Yes. A current VPAT is available on request: email hey@teachshare.com and we’ll send it over.
How many teachers at my school already use TeachShare?+
Sign in and open the Schools tab in the left sidebar. You’ll see who at your school is already on TeachShare.
How do I bring TeachShare to my school?+
Email hey@teachshare.com with your school, roughly how many teachers you’d want covered, and when your budget cycle opens. We’ll put together a quote and a one-pager you can forward to your principal. Or skip the email and book the demo.
Can someone from TeachShare present to our staff?+
Yes. We do snack-and-learns and lunch-and-learns, virtually or in person depending on where you are.
